“ I had the seafood rice dish and it was great. The space is a bit small, and there were lots of people waiting either for their order or to get a table, but I still enjoyed it. I would definitely go back. ”
“ The most delicious chicken ever. I also love the green rice. I am so glad we have this Peruvian place in Lynnwood. ”
“ Food was made to perfection, the chicken was tender and moist while the skin has still it's crispness. It's the girst time I have tried this dish but I like it. The service is very good. The crew was attentive and they are gast at getting at our requested service. The ambiance is just ok. It's not a fine dining so don't expect so much. ”
“ I have lived near here for 3 years but this is my first time ordering. We stopped in for take out on Sunday. Seating was full and there were customers waiting. The food was really excellent and service was great. We want to try other menu items. ”
“ Came in a group of 6 on the last Friday night in October (10/27/2023) to try what I had heard was the most authentic Peruvian food in the greater Puget Sound area (from my cleaning lady, who is Peruvian). The original plan was to dine with daughter (13yo at the time) and 2 close friends (coupled) but since the location was quite close to my ex-hubby's place, I asked him and his girlfriend to join us as well. With a party of 6, we were able to try quiet a number of items. AMBIANCE/SERVICE/DRINKS: This is a no-frills mom n pop place. Nothing fancy, you come for the yummy food only. You can order at the counter but since we were dining in, she did come to our table to take our orders. Service is exactly what you would expect at a simple, no-frills place. Perfectly adequate, they are here to do their job (very well) and not to make friends. It didn't help that nobody in our party speaks Spanish. The nice thing is that they will allow you to BOB without extra charges (and a pro tip: we didn't need it since I brought Prosecco, but I would suggest bringing your bottle or beer opener too!) The kiddo got her usual Coca Cola, and one of my friends thought he was ordering a glass of the Chicha Morada (a purple corn based drink originating in the Peruvian Andes) and instead we were served a pitcher. It was hilarious to see his face when it arrived and luckily not a costly mistake at $11 versus $3 and then we all got to try some (and he cleverly used the empty wine bottle to transport the leftover back home!) Food wise we tried: - Two of the Papa Rellena, $7.50 each (2 per plate, basically deep fried balls of mashed potatoes stuffed with ground beef and onions, what's not to like???) - Papa a la Huancaina, $9.50 (boiled potatoes covered in huancaina sauce, which is a traditional sauce made with queso fresco, yellow peruvian peppers, garlic, salt, etc etc. Sauce was delicious!) - A whole pollo a la brasa (whole roasted chicken), $32 served with lots of fries and a salad (juicy and well seasoned) - Tallarin Verde, $19.50 (spaghetti with a green sauce made of spinach, basil, milk, and cheese and served with either steak or chicken; we opted steak because we were getting a whole rotisserie chicken!) - ceviche de pescado, $25 (a Peruvian classic!) One of the best parts -- for me-- is all the table-side squeeze bottles of homemade sauces. I tried them all and they were each so unique and varied with spice level. Making a big puddle of my favorites on my plate and dipping the juicy roasted chicken into it took the food to a new flavor level! For this reason, I think it may be more convenient to eat in house even though the ambiance doesn't invite lingering (unflattering tube lighting yikes!) and as other Yelpers have mentioned (but we did not experience - at 6pm on a Friday night the place was empty and we chose a booth towards the back of the restaurant) crowded. Dessert: - Plantano Frito, $5 (yum, couldn't get out without the caramelized yumminess of fried plantains - 3!! orders of the crema volteada, $4.50 each (we ordered one to start but it was so good that we ordered another and then while paying I got another one for ex-hubby's gf as she was literally swooning over it! it's basically flan/creme caramel/caramel custard covered with more liquid caramel. They bake it as a big round and then slice it into wedges for individual portions. But surprisingly it's not overly sweet. Amazing-- clearly ;) Grand total with tax and a little over 20% tip was $180.94, $30 per person. ”
“ Real deal Peruvian Cuisine diner I just ate and I LOVED IT.... Now you may need google maps to locate it but just do it. Authentic meals served with love & flavor. I order Lolo Salada a wonderful combination of fries, red onion , tomatoes & steak sautéed to perfection for my pleasure. The dining area is sparse yet I could have cared less about that cause my only interest was the food. The lady took my order with a smile and within a few moments it was at my table. Just to let you know my Yelp review was done before I left the place, that's how satisfied I was with my meal. ”
“ Clearly I am very late to the party...saw a Yelp post from 2009. Read elsewhere that the business was started in 2006. Anyways, I've had Pollos a la Brasa San Fernando / San Fernando Roasted Chicken in Lynnwood bookmarked for awhile, especially with all the photos posted by fellow Yelper, Mike S! The Seattle location at Rainier and Dearborn just recently closed permanently. Another site is slated to open in SeatTac/Tukwila area. Finally, I'm able to try the tasty poultry from this Lynnwood location. It is in the same strip mall location as Donut Factory and across the street from Omar's Taqueria. I haven't had rotisserie style chicken since the shuttered Big Chickie in S. Seattle/Hillman City. And I haven't tried other Peruvian spots in Seattle such as Don Lucho's and Senor Carbon or others in Lynnwood. I stopped by for takeout without any preconceptions. First visit this evening (1/17/22), where I placed my order onsite for a whole chicken and agreed to the addition of salad and fries. Very friendly person at the front counter. My takeout order was ready in under 10 minutes! Takeout order was nicely packed with house sauces for the drive back home. Didn't need the latter, because the chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful. Order sizes available are quarter, half or whole. This takeout order with tax and tip was under $33. Next time I'll pass on the salad and fries. The focus should be on that amazing chicken! This was a splurge, but my nearby grocery store has no whole chickens available for purchase due to pandemic supply chain issues. Also, don't even compare this either to a Costco rotisserie chicken. Took me 12 years to stop in, hopefully it won't take you as long. ”
